Berry Pipelines has been in operation for over 20 years and specialises in the replacement of cast iron and ductile iron water mains in the Melbourne area with a high emphasis on trenchless construction methods such as pipe bursting and slip lining. The business has also undertaken specialised work in the area of spray lining of water mains.

This acquisition now provides Downer EDI with a strong presence in the Victorian water market.

Of particular note is Berry Pipeline’s long and proud association with two of Melbourne's major water retailers, City West Water and Yarra Valley Water. Berry Pipelines has played a significant part in the asset replacement programs of these organisations for many years.
